We all will remember the year 2020 for the year that took away our ‘normality’. What ever that may be for each and everyone of us. The year of the Corona Virus – Covid-19; a  year that many lost family members or friends to this new pandemic. And many lost their jobs or their incomes were greatly reduced. Our freedoms were taken away, no mixing with friends, no hugging, no gyms, and no theatre.  All doom and gloom for some, but not for many, including me.

At the start of the pandemic many people started something new, or returned to a much forgotten hobby or skill during lockdown. I started painting again using acrylic paints on canvas – and what fun it is. Unfortunately as the pandemic took a hold, like many other photographers I have seen my work diminish but the up side to this is that it has given me more time and energy to put into painting.

I’ve taken part in exhibitions, artisan markets and craft fairs, selling many paintings; one couple bought seven paintings! A small selection is shown here.

Please take a look at my work and if you would like more information or would like to buy one, please email me:
