Good use of image

It’s always good to see a photograph that you have taken well used when reproduced as is the case with the featured poster showing a portrait that I had taken of Holocaust Survivor, Zigi Shipper. The image has not been cropped, which for me is always a good thing – not that there is much scope to crop the image.

Each year for Holocaust Memorial Day, Marple Hall School in Stockport ask a survivor to give a talk about their experience, and an underlying lesson; that being the importance of having tolerance and acceptance of every human being no matter what their religion, nationality, race or beliefs are. It is the second year that the school has used a portrait photograph taken by me.

Thank you to Andrew Beckett, the Reprographics Manager at Marple Hall School for doing such a good job with the poster.
